Day 1 – Lima
Arrival to Lima. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Night at Lima.
Day 2 – LIMA – TRUJILLO – CHICLAYO
Transfer to the airport to board the Lima / Trujillo flight. Excursion to the Sun and the Moon Temple (pre inca Mochica culture), we appreciate the high relief images murals, ceremonial places finely decorated.
Visit of the Arco Iris or Huaca Dragon Temple (Chimú culture) which is surrounded by a trapezoidal wall six meters high. Chan Chan, capital of the Chimú culture, a dry land (adobe). construction. Then we visit the Tshudi Palace, located in the southwestern part of Chan Chan, it is one of the best preserved. We go through ceremonial places, reservoirs, barns, the people’s council room, cemeteries.
In the afternoon we visit Huanchaco, ancestral fishing place where we appreciate the old mochicas boats: “caballitos de totora”. Transfer to the bus station to board the bus Trujillo-Chiclayo. Welcome and accommodation at the hotel. Night at the hotel.

Day 3 – CHICLAYO – TUCUME – CHICLAYO
Departure to Túcume, 33 km north of the city. It is an archaeological complex where we appreciate 26 adobe pyramids which constituted the Sicán culture second political center (about 03 hours of visit). Then we visit the new museum “Tumbas Reales”, located in Lambayeque (about 20 minutes drive), retains material harvested in the archaeological excavations of the complex Sipán-Huaca Rajada. We appreciate the Señor de Sipán with all his precious jewels. Finally, we visit the archaeological complex Sipán 35 km (about 30 minutes drive), where is the intact tomb of Señor de Sipán. Back to Chiclayo and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 – CHICLAYO – CAJAMARCA
Departure by private transport to Cajamarca (+ – 06 hours drive). Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 – CAJAMARCA
After breakfast, we leave by private transport to Cumbemayo (3,500m) (about 30 minutes drive) archaeological remains and natural formations as the “Frailones”, “the Sanctuary”, ceremonial places and the hydraulic engineering canal (about 04 hrs of walking tour). Then, about 30 minutes drive to the Ventanillas de Otuzco (pre-Inca cemetery). In the afternoon, we visit the Hacienda Collpa (20 minutes from Otuzco) and ” the Inca Baths” thermo mineral and medicinal springs (20 minutes drive from Collpa) Water with curative properties recommended for rheumatism, arthritis and other diseases. Return to Cajamarca (about 20 minutes drive). Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 – CAJAMARCA – CELENDIN – LEIMEBAMBA (2158 msnm)
Long road trip day (+ – 09 hours), departure by private transport to the Celendín small town. We continue toward Leimebamba, we cross the mythological river Marañón by a bridge called Balsas o Chacanto, the vegetation changes. Arrival and overnight at the hotel.
Day 7 – LEYMEBAMBA – REBASH – CHOCTAMAL (2714 msnm)
We visit the Artisan Women’s Museum and Leymebamba Museum, where we appreciate mummies and more than two thousand archaeological objects discovered at the chullpas of the Condors Lagoon. Then, we visit the Rebash “funeral city”, consisting of several groups of mausoleums built in the rocky excavations of an imposing cliff. We find many mummies and skeletons.
Each group of mausoleums has the appearance of a miniature village, with its houses with stone walls joined with clay mortar, on which remain red coatings. We also discover engraved motifs representing felines, llamas and characters, as well as geometric patterns in the shape of crosses, rectangles and “T”. We continue towards Choctamal (01 hour), a village known for its numerous hummingbirds, orchid, orchids and bromeliads. Night at the hotel.
Day 8 – CHOCTAMAL – KUELAP – CHACHAPOYAS ( 2335 msnm)
After breakfast, departure by private vehicle (+ – 35 min) to Kuelap archaeological complex of, extraordinary fortress pre inca, built on the top of a mountain by the Chachapoyas culture, occupies 06 hectares. Transfer to Chachapoyas, characterized by colonial architecture with narrow streets. Night at the hotel.
Day 9 – CHACHAPOYAS – LAMUD – KARAJIA – CHACHAPOYAS
We go to Lamud (about 01 hour drive) where we visit the Plaza de Armas, the stone mill and the Lamud cross, then we continue to San Miguel de Cruzpata where we start a 50 minute hike to arrive at the foot of the cliff, the Karajía sarcophagies (Chachapoyas culture) are a unique form of burial of the dead persons in the world. Return to Chachapoyas, overnight at the hotel.
Day 10 – CHACHAPOYAS – COCACHIMBA ( 1796 m) – GOCTA – RIOJA(848 m)
Five hours round trip hike to the Gocta waterfall. It is the highest in the country, We start our walk through sugar cane fields before entering the forest. We meet hummingbirds, toucans and monkeys. The view of the waterfall and its three falls is beautiful. In the afternoon, return to Rioja. Night at the hotel.
Day 11 – RIOJA – MOYOBAMBA – TARAPOTO
We go to Tarapoto. On the way, we visit Moyobamba, capital of San Martín department. This region is a orchids and tropical flowers paradise. Visit two orchid gardens and stop at Ahuashiyacu Waterfalls. Night at the hotel.
Day 12 – TARAPOTO – YURIMAGUAS (+ – 05 hours road trip)
Departure to Yurimaguas by private transport. Night at the hotel.
Day 13 – YURIMAGUAS – HUALLAGA RIVER – AMAZONAS RIVER
We start our boat trip across the Huallaga-Marañón river to the confluence of Ucayali, which forms the Amazonas river. We continue to advance on the Amazonas River toward Iquitos city. Night in a hostel.

We continue our boat trip to reach Iquitos. We appreciate the forest, varied fauna and extraordinary flora. Night at the hotel.
