45 km north of the city of Trujillo, we visit the archeological complex El Brujo, of the Mochica culture, we find the tomb of the Lady of Cao, a great emperor, priestess; its discovery radically changes the population thesis of ancient cultures in America.

Mummy covered by 18 gold, silver, lapis lazuli, quartz and turquoise necklaces, thirty gold and silver nose ornaments, gold copper crowns and headbands.

The body of the tattooed lady with images of crocodiles, snakes, spiders, monkeys, jaguars, bees and butterflies, still well visible, representing the  fertility of the earth, as well as its gifts as a great fortune teller. We visited the Cao Museum.
