ITINERARY:
DAY 01: LIMA
Arrival in Lima. Reception, transfer and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 02: LIMA – AREQUIPA
Transfer to the airport for the Lima / Arequipa flight. Reception, transfer and installation at the hotel. In the afternoon, visit to the “white” city: the Plaza de Armas, the cathedral, the Convent of Santa Catalina, a small town in the city. Night at the hotel.

DAY 03: AREQUIPA – CANYON DU COLCA (+ – 06h30 drive)
Excursion to the Canon del Colca, the deepest in all of America, twice as high as those of Colorado in the USA. We will take a road which will make us discover very beautiful landscapes and constructions from the colonial era. We cross several picturesque villages. Overnight in Chivay.

DAY 04: CANYON DU COLCA – PUNO (+ – 07 hours drive)
Very early, we leave towards Cruz del Condor, where the Canyon is the deepest. We also appreciate the flight of condors. Then transfer to Puno, en route Sillustani. Arrival and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 05: PUNO – UROS – TAQUILE – PUNO
Departure in the morning by boat on Lake Titicaca and visit the floating islands of Uros, former inhabitants of the lake who built their own islands with a plant called “totora” (variety of reed). Continuation to the island of Taquile, an island in Lake Titicaca with its own characteristic, traditions and way of life of its inhabitants. Return to Puno. Night at the hotel.

DAY 06: PUNO – CUZCO (+ – 08 hours drive)
Transfer to the bus station to take the tourist bus to Cuzco. On the way, visit the remains of the ancient culture of Pucará. Crossing La Raya farm to see herds of vicuñas and llamas. The path runs along the Vilcanota mountain range; snow observation covering the peaks of La Raya and Kunurana. In Racchi, we visit the temple of Wiracocha, a great Inca god. Visit the fabulous church of Andahuaylillas known as the Sistine Chapel of South America. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Night at the hotel.

DAY 07: CUZCO
We visit the city: the Central Place, the main streets, the Temple of the Sun or Koricancha. Visit of the Sacsayhuaman archaeological complex and the sites near Pucapucara, Kenko and Tambomachay. Free afternoon. Night at the hotel.

DAY 08: CUZCO – SACRED VALLEY
Excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We visit Pisac, a stronghold with the ruins which dominate the village and a colorful market enlivens this village where barter exchanges have been going on for centuries. We follow the course of Urubamba to Ollantaytambo, another fortress which has visibly kept the different roles of a military building under the Inca Empire. Overnight in Ollantaytambo.

DAY 09: OLLANTAYTAMBO – AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICHU – CUZCO Transfer to the station and departure to the village of Agas Calientes (bagpacker class). Arrival at the foot of the site and ascent by minibus, up to 2300 m. of altitude, where the Inca site, intact and so long forgotten, is perched on the top of a mountain in an absolutely magnificent site. Visit the citadel. Then in the afternoon return by bus to Aquas Calientes and by train to Cuzco. Transfer to the hotel. Night at the hotel.

DAY 10: CUSCO – NINAMARCA – KCALLACANCHA – QOLLPA (+ – 05 hours on the road, + – 2 hours on foot)
Early in the morning departure by private vehicle, We cross the beautiful countryside and several traditional villages Huancarane, Ninamarca, arrival in Paucartambo. After lunch continue our trip to Kcallacancha. Trek to Qollpa via Huamanccacca. Camp.

DAY 11: QOLLPA – TANTAÑE (KEROTOTORANI) (+ – 04 hours in the morning, + – 03 hours in the afternoon)
After lunch we spend the morning in the village of Qollpa, observing the costumes of the natives. After lunch, continue the trek to the village of Tantañe (Q’erototorane). Camp.

DAY 12: TANTAÑE – JATUN Q’EROS (+ – 05 hours walk) We will continue the trek towards the indigenous community of Jatun Q’eros, we can visit the village of Q’erototorani. We spend the afternoon around Jatun Q’eros. Camp.

DAY 13: JATUN Q’EROS – CHAMPACANCHA (+ – 04 hours of walking in the morning, + – 03 hours in the afternoon)
Early in the morning, we start our walk to Champacancha. We visit the village of Chuwachuwa. In the afternoon, we continue our walk to the small community of Champacancha. Camp.

DAY 14: CHAMPACANCHA – KCALLACANCHA – CUSCO (+ – 05 hours walk, (+ – 4h30 drive)
After lunch, we start walking towards Kcallacancha, we can still appreciate the village of Qollpa, we stop at Huamanccacca. In the afternoon, we continue to Kcallacancha, approximately 1 hour. Return by private transport to Cusco.

DAY 15: CUZCO
Free day. Night at the hotel.

Domestic flight from Cuzco to Lima. Reception, transfer to the hotel. Night at the hotel.
